Welcome to the Blog of River Ram Press

Our New Logo: River Ram – designed by Kristin Bergene

Welcome to the blogging home of River Ram Press (RRP), the brainchild of Jessica Becking and Kristin Bergene: two ambitious young women who had a desire to take their careers into their own hands upon the completion of MAs in Publishing and Creative Writing at Kingston University, London in Kingston-Upon-Thames, UK. With the combination of their many and diverse talents, River Ram Press was born.

This boutique Canadian-American press aims to publish new adult literary fiction of the highest quality. Think Twilight meets Jane Eyre or Harry Potter meets The Picture of Dorian Gray and you’re on the right track.

River Ram Press actively seeks optimistic authors and storytellers who engage with unique voices. A River Ram Press author scorns the traditional frameworks of genre and always aims to inspire in their readers a love of stories.

As a publisher that takes its author-editor relationship seriously, RRP chose to begin their online presence here, in the form of a blog, so they could begin to connect and build the all important community that will form the backbone of RRP. They take great pride in their author focused approach to publication. A stance where the growth and development of the author is equal to the growth and development of their manuscript.

RRP looks forward to forging new relationships with authors, agents, publishers, booksellers, reviewers and readers in the months and years to come. Watch this space for all the excitement of RRP news and developments; there are sure to be lots.

Kindest Regards,

River Ram Press
