Stephen’s Touch Base Tuesday

HI Rams,

It’s been a while since I last did an update, but the months have been flying by! WHERE has July gone!?  The main reason for the distance in between posts is that I’ve recently got a new job, and so this post is mainly going to be about change!

Change comes in all shapes, sizes and situations and in every situation its about the learning curve. As I’ve just said, I recently got a new job working for a literary agency, and for me its been a great time of learning how to come in and adapt to a new environment and how people and situations work differently.

But I’ve also been seeing this in RRP. We to are in a time of change, and a time, excitingly, of growth. There were a lot of commas in that last sentence I apologise. I know in my last update I spoke about The Ram Boutique being nearly finished, and I know you’re all waiting to see the journal  and I promise it’s coming very soon. I don’t think I realised at the start of the project how the little bits that go into making the product the best it can be take up so much time. And then life gets involved. But we are at the last hurdles and I’m so excited with what we have to share!

Some of you also may have seen on Twitter that we recently took part in a Twitter open submission pitch party, which was a fantastic experience to see all the wealth of ideas out there waiting to be shared. We’ve received some great stories and I hope to be welcoming some amazing new authors to the family soon!

That’s all really from me now, I hope you’re all doing well and I’ll be back soon with exciting updates!

Best wishes, and happy reading/writing and all round creativity

Stephen
